I just received a mailing with the following content. Please tell me whether this is a generous offer or not. I'm just not experienced enough to know.

Nothing special. Don't forget, you'll have to pay the 2007 maintenance fees to get the 2007 points.

I would say that non-ocean front gold at Ocean Watch could be tempting.

I'm wondering what the prices are for the various possible purchases.
Also, wondering whether points would be every year or not. I haven't called yet to find out the details. I hate to get involved in a big sales call.

Interesting. I did the tour at the SurfWatch today and they only offered 100k plus everything else mentioned. I assume the 200k may have involve financing points.

I have the prices for all the properties. I'm intrigued by OW OS GOLD to match up with my GO OF Gold, which I'm currently enjoying. Its price tag is $24,900. If I was offered 200k, plus alt plus, 40k self, 12500 tour, plus Visa points for total of 381075, I would have at least considered it. I was offered 291075, not compelling enough for me to even think about.

If you call corporate, they are offering 200,000 points until Oct. 31 for Marriott owners, plus 40,000 SR, plus 2007 points for MF, plus can put up to 25% on MVisa and get points there. Must keep financing for 6 months. I was quoted 12.99% financing. This offer was today. They would have to check current inventory for OW gold but it would qualify if they had it.
