Marriott Royal Palms or Marriott Orlando World Center?

We are going to Orlando for two weeks in 2009.

The first week we have Marriott Points and can stay at either the Marriott Orlando World Center in a regular room or at Marriott Royal Palms in a 2 BR unit. (The second week we are staying at Orange Lakes River Island in a 2 BR Condo.)

I’d rather stay at the Royal Palms since it is a condo unit. Yet, are the resorts close enough that we can use the facilities at the World Resort? Is it in walking distance? I thought we could use the pools, the spa and some of the restaurants.

Thanks for your comments in advance!

I was there years ago. Sable Palms was easy walking distance to the World Center; you could walk from Royal Palms to the World Center but it wasn't just around the corner; but they had quicky transportation to take you from Royal Palms to the hotel. It really wasn't all that inconvenient. If it were me and it was just H & W, I'd stay at the World Center. If there were more than 2 of us, I'd opt for Royal Palms

It's about 500 yards from Royal Palms to the front of the Marriott. The shuttle comes whenever you call. There is also a small pool at RP. I'd take the condo without any question. I stayed there four years ago before the refurb, and it was nice and large.
