Which Marriott in Orlando do you recommend?
Not traveling with kids
Might do a theme park
More likely just sit at pool
Do activities
Eat out etc

Lakeshore Reserve is probably the best given your circumstance, though it is kinda far to a lot of restaurants. It is great for people not traveling with kids. I do have a video on my YouTube channel where I compare all the MVC resorts in Orlando.

You are always so helpful
Honestly hope we are in the same location sometime
I’d love to buy you and your wife lunch or a drink 🥃

Our family used these videos to help us decide. Lakeshore was not available, so we ended up at Cypress Harbour. That visit led to our re-sale Marriott purchase!!

I love Royal Palms but Cypress Harbour is a close second. Marriott is getting rid of my big bathtubs. I never was a fan of Grande Vista, but I do love Lakeshore Reserve.

Lakeshore Reserve if you are not traveling with children or are not into theme parks.

We like Lakeshore also for the best “resort” feel. They have a great bar and decent bar menu. They have a nice little store there and the lazy river is great. It’s always crowded though, it feels like they have 100% occupancy all the time. We have to get out early if we want to get our prime location, which is in the shade 😊. When there we also enjoy walking over to the JW to have a meal or two.

Note, IMO, The JW waterpark is probably not worth the charge for most people, because unless you’re going to do the slides a lot, you might as well just stay at Lakeshore and use their lazy river. (We were there recently and it didn’t even seem like lots of people were using the slides.)

We also really like Sabal Palms too, for a different vibe. It’s older, but its pool is usually empty and we have it to ourselves or maybe there’s three or four other people there.. There’s no real services there though, so it’s a “do it yourself” vacation. Sometimes we bring a cooler to the pool. Of course you can go over to the World Center, Marriott. I don’t know if they’re charging for the regular pool now, we haven’t been there since they started charging for the new “Waterpark”. We usually go over to the Marriott for a couple of meals when we’re there since it’s a short walk from Sabal.

What we like most about Sabal is that it’s very quiet and it’s a really relaxing time for us.

Taking my kids to harbour lake in june as its supposed to be extremely kid friendly! looking forward to it! =)

For a couple with no kids, I would go with Cypress Harbor. Good fitness center and spa, quiet, and near a lot of restaurants. As a previous poster mentioned, Lakeshore is somewhat away from the busy areas with shops and restaurants.

Marriott Grand Vista. Lots of activities and many pools.

We also like GV, it has a large footprint, very nicely landscaped around a lake with several pools. HL has a fun pirates ship pool with a smaller footprint that is easier to get around with younger kids. Both have activities. For adults, I’d pick GV over HL, but would gladly stay at HL.
