We are visiting Marriott Oceanwatch and looking for some suggestions on restaurants that are farm to table type with healthy and unique options. Would appreciate any suggestions - no children - just three old folks. Thinking along the lines of good seafood - good unique salads - good atmosphere but casual dress. Thanks in advance.

Hook and Barrel restaurant…very good seafood..salads and atmosphere….about 3 blocks from OceanWatch…highly recommend

The Sea Captain Restaurant maybe a good choice for this mature group or Hook and Barrel Restaurant as in the above post.
Some good local seafood restaurants can be find on Murrell Islands.

Thanks - tried Sea Captain today was great - Hook and Barrel wasn't open will try later this week.

ditto on the Hook and Barrel. Great happy hour apps

Thanks all - had great food all week - went to Joe's Bar and Grille twice and Sea Captain twice. Went to Drifts for breakfast/lunch. Only bad meal was Hoskins which was like a diner that we stopped at for breakfast - not so good food or service.
