I own at Oceanwatch and am "founding member". We were given privilege to use facilities 24/365. We do visit fairly often. My question is that we have friends that would like to buy a resale and be able to have the least expensive summer week (resale, I am guessing) and have the same privileges. Can you get day entry with a resale? What is the best way to get a summer unit that kids off school can use, plus the day entry? Any ideas? Thanks so much.

If Day Pass privileges were written in to the governing docs of a Week when it was originally sold by the Developer, then Day Pass Usage extends to every owner upon resale of that Week.

Not all resorts offer this. At those that do, it's usually limited to daylight hours and the GMs generally have the right to restrict it during times of high demand/occupancy. If you have guaranteed access 24/365 as a Founding Member, it wouldn't surprise me if Marriott were to say that the liberal guarantees afforded to Founding Members would not pass to new owners of those Weeks. They'd still get the Day Pass privilege, but as it may be limited by the GM.

Do you have something in writing that shows this 365/24 guaranteed access? If so in what document?

The resorts can also change these privileges over time, for example
Playa Andaluza this year applied some restrictions to who could have day usage due to heavy usage of the resort facilities.
Club Son Antem some years back stopped complimentary access for founder members to the spa area facilities
