We just left the Manor Club great two weeks. The only problem was the weather. We had sunshine, cloudy days, rain, snow and a thunderstorm. The elevator in the Governor's Manor building is going thru some major repairs. The good news Berkeley Manor and one other building are been completely renovated. They should be ready by April. Mike Reilly, the former resort manager at MOW is doing a superb job at the resort.

We were in Heritage Manor over looking the golf course.

We stayed several weeks in Berkeley Manor two or three years ago and I thought it was the best timeshare villa we have ever stayed in other than Kauai Lagoons. It was in great shape. What renovations could it possibly need at this time?
 
They actually did the big refurb several years ago when they put granite in and cherry cabinets (in Berkeley only). I'm sure some of the furniture needs upgrading.

Last year at this time they did the Sequel side and the furniture over there is awesome. Still like the original better.....

Wow, it sure has been a roller coaster as far as weather is concerned!
I don't think I ever waited for spring weather to arrive with as much anxiety as this winter season.

Completely agree on the weather. Richmond has had some of the worst weather I can remember. Up here where I live, we've had more days below freezing than above and that's just not normal for this part of the country. I guess it is payback for the mild summer.
 
We love the governor's manor since the top floor is absolutely incredible for their units. Stayed there last year for a week and LOVED it! One of our favorite resorts in the Marriott Portfolio and so glad it is only 3-4 hrs away!
