We're taking the kids to Orlando in June after school gets out.
I just exchanged into a 2 bedroom unit at the Lakeshore Reserve.
I called to confirm the reservation and she asked if I had any preferences.
What sort of preferences could I / should I have?

There is more then one type of two bedroom units, which one do you have?

Since the resort is only partially built, the only real options are which building and what floor you want (assuming the room type is already dictated by the exchange)

Really can not go wrong. We are here this week on our third exchange, and it gets better with every stay. One of the best MVCI resorts anywhere, and the staff is phenomenal as well.

Unit Type

Thanks for the replies.
The only information I can find on the unit is type ZZAA.
2 bedroom, sleeps 8, 6 privately.

We'll be there next week. Can't wait to check it out!:whoopie:

We've been confirmed for our Aruba trade to a 3 bedroom in April. Are there different type of 3 bedrooms and locations?

We were there for Thanksgiving week and stayed in the Messina bldg in a 2 bedroom, (rm 3214?) you want a corner unit facing the lake there are 2 bldgs the Messina is closer to the pool and more private the other bldg is closer to check in and the restaurant , gym, store, the JW and the Ritz the total distance between the bldg's is probably only 200 to 300 hundred yards.

Also I highly recommend a 2nd floor or higher unit, if you are on the first floor there is less privacy with people walking by etc.

There are 3 bedroom lockoffs and the 3 bedroom townhouses. The lockoffs are pretty typical MVCI 3 br, while the townhouses are really cool. They are 2 floors, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on the top floor. Either way, it is a great resort. There are only 4 buildings.

We leave tomorrow, and already have another 3 stays here set up for 2011.

I am here now, in Mesianna building facing the lake, got to be one of the best views here. Yes there are still very few buildings here, just two main "towers" then a bunch of the townhouse styles. If you are in a lockoff unit then you will be on the interiors, if you have the standard 2 bedroom it will most likely be an end unit.

Yesterday they were filming the timeshare presentation in the pool, actors and everything! Nice of them to take over our pool on the first nice day of the week!

cold?

Actors around the pool... hasn't it been unseasonably cool down there this week?

I guess they had to do some real acting. :D

We will be going in June and staying in a 3 bdr townhouse. Can you suggest what building would be the best choice? 2nd best?

Only 4 buildings.

The townhouses are only in 2. One is capo d'orlando. That was right next to the pool. The other is closer to the preview center did not catch the name.

Really not a bad spot in the resort.

If you have the two bedroom with the two master suites Room 3502/3504 in Messina has a great pool view in 3502 - LR pool view and BR parking/road view in 3504. Road noise while on balcony - not when doors are shut. Same would hold true for 3402/3404, etc.

Palermo room 2313 for a 2 BR non lock off was a great golf/woods/water view. Very quite.

Everyone at the resort was very pleasant and accomodating.
Rooms still smell like paint and new furniture.
