Marriott Ko Olina - EOY Ocean View

It passed ROFR at $5k?
It did. I signed the final docs and sent the money to escrow earlier this week. Our first use is going to be the week of Nov. 10 (I had the seller book the 1-br. side prior to the close of escrow). Now, we'll deposit and trade the studio side for next year.

We stayed there (on a trade) about 12 years ago when we got married at nearby Lanikuhonua. We really like the resort, and figured if we wanted a place to return when we stayed on Oahu annually, this would be the place. MFs are high, but cheaper than a top-notch hotel. And, if we didn't insist on Orchid's for Sunday Brunch, La Hiki at the nearby Four Seasons is pretty good. A bit of a drive to our favorite spots on the island, but that's fine. We usually go all over the island when we stay on Oahu, and our house in Aiea also required some driving when we visited. Ko Olina is only about another 20-25 minutes from Ala Moana/Waikiki (or Manoa or Makapuu), about the same distance to the North Shore, and closer to Waikele.

Congratulations! Like you, we love the resort and usually drive to other parts of the island. Enjoy!

Just confirming they reserved the studio as well?

That is awesome! Sounds like a pretty solid deal.

Do you still have to wait for the transfer to complete to deposit the studio?

Yes the transfer has to be completed before you can add the week to your interval account and deposit and trade a unit.
