Hello,

From looking at Marriott's website, it shows rooms options are 1,2, and 3 Bedroom configurations. But in II, it shows a 0 bedrooms, sleeps 2/4.

So, is the unit a Studio or a 1BR???

Also, any updated comments regarding the construction noise?

Thanks...

There are four configurations, including 1BR and studios.

From the Marriott.com page for this property:
Elegantly appointed and spacious Deluxe Guest, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom villas accommodate up to 10 guests
Guest = Studio

OK, Thanks...

From looking at the vacationclub site, I saw "Villas have 1-, 2-, and 3- bedroom villas with 1-, 2-, and 3- baths". Nothing about a "Guest" configuration.

I think that description is there - on the MVCI site - because you can't buy a studio. A 1BR is the smallest you can buy. The studio is the lockoff portion of a larger unit. Some 1BRs are also the lockoff portion of 3BR units.

I don't think the MVCI site shows studio's for any of their properties.

As a side note, MGC has three different one bedroom units. One is a traditional one bedroom unit, one is the lock-off master suite of the two bedroom unit and one is the lock-off section of the three bedroom unit.

The difference between the LO of the two bedroom unit and the tradtional one bedroom unit is A/ location (traditional 1 bedroom's are further away from the elevator in most cases), B/. the table in the traditional 1 bedroom dining room table has seating for 4 while the master suite of the 2 bedroom unit has seating for 6 and of course C/ the pass through door that the LO units have.

The one bedroom that is the LO section of the three bedroom unit is at the end of the hall where all three bedroom units are located and is a slightly smaller one bedroom unit. The kitchen is along the wall and there is no bar/counter seperating it from the dining/living room area. It also has a tub/shower combination rather than a soaker tub with a seperate shower. So if your exchange confirmation were to list tub/shower rather than serperating them out you would know that your reservation would be for 1 bedroom that was the LO to a three bedroom unit......or so I suppose.
