Thank you for all the replies on my previous post about navigating Las Vegas with probable RA diagnosis. Your replies were so helpful and greatly appreciated. I am definitely going to rent a mobility scooter for our trip and will also be using ride shares to get around so I do not get too sore and tired. We will not have a car.

I love having a 1 BR unit and a kitchen and would like to provision for simple breakfasts, snacks and happy hour. I believe I can get grocery delivery to the villa without a problem from Walmart, Albertsons, others nearby. But I am very confused about delivery of alcohol with the grocery order. We would like to order a mix of champagne, beer and bourbon for the week. I just can't tell if it can be delivered with the grocery order or if it can even be delivered AT ALL.

Can anyone explain if we need to personally visit a liquor store to buy wine, beer, spirits or can we order a delivery to the resort. We would prefer to get deliveries of al groceries and alcohal if possible together. Thank you

Here is what Google says on the subject. No personal experience. We had Wal Mart deliver our groceries but we didn’t order any alcohol. Looks like you should be able to get it delievered with your groceries.

While not exactly the question asked, pre Covid (like Feb before lockdown) GC offered a scheduled Wal Mart Run, I believe it was 2 times a week. I do not recall if it was scooter accessible. If you are interested you could call the resort and ask about whether they still do and if so, the accessibility. Also, if they still make the run, you might ask if they'll pick up a pre order. I can't speak to liquor but the resort should be able to answer that question as well.

We were there last fall. We had delivery from Vons (Albertsons) through their website. Scheduled the day before and had it delivered the evening of our arrival. It was seamless with $50 off for fist time delivery (YMMV.) If you don't shop with this brand make sure you get a loyalty card (online) and an account, as you get all the discounts if so.

You can only get food. You cannot get alcohol delivered to GC (from any source we could find, and we looked hard.) However, there is a CVS across the street on the corner in front of Planet Hollywood. They have a full beer/wine/alcohol selection. If carrying stuff is an issue, hopefully your scooter has a big basket. Cheers!

It looks like Instacart delivers alcohol in Las Vegas. I’ve been very happy with instacart deliveries at home and on vacation. You might have to meet them in the lobby, not sure if the guard will tag them on to the elevator.

I think it depends where exactly you are. They would not deliver last November to MGC.

I think a mobility scooter is a good idea. That said, we are in Las Vegas now and be warned, many elevators that go up to the walkways over the strip are broken. Some escalaters are also broken. It is usually the up escalater that doesn't work. Go figure...

This may require you to back track or go out of the way in order to get to your final destination. So plan extra time if you are going to shows or have reservations.

Yes, this is very common. They are often not working. If mobility is still an issue then, I would second taking uber/lyft and let driver know so they take you to best dropoff.
