Marriott Bonvoy status with ownership

Hello - I know that you get status in the Bonvoy program based on your MVC ownership level. We are Select level (based on our Vistana ownership) which gives Platinum level in Bonvoy. My question is does that apply to only one person, or since my wife and I are both listed on the ownership could it apply to both? I searched and didn't find any info on this.

Yes, it only applies to one owner. You can call Owner Services and tell them which owner gets the status, but they only update it with Bonvoy once a year, usually early in the year. So that time might have passed if you were wanting to change it for 2025.
