Marriott Aruba Surf best tower ocean view

towers

the Lighthouse Building is the original building (Building A) and has the best views, but you have to have purchased (or traded for) Oceanfront or Oceanside. The other buildings are Oceanview - still a decent view if you're on the pool side and on a high floor; all of the building have Gardenview designated as the first 4 floors. I'm not sure Building D (one of the two newest buildings) has what you consider a tower like the Lighthouse Building.

If you don't have OF or OS, try to get into Building B (can never remember the name) and ask for a high floor. Still a great view and not too far a walk from the ocean.

We will be there in August as well. Does anyone know the email link for room request ??

The previous "online pre-arival" forms have been cancel.

Thanks

I think if you go to the web site of the Surf Club you can send an email. Pull up you reservation. I did and then called because we needed to confirm a crib and they had all my requests including early checkin if possible.

I think there was some form last year but have not seen it.

Leaving tommorrow for 2 weeks.

Sue

As you said, the Lighthouse tower is OF and OS. The 2nd building is the Compass Tower and that is OV with GV on the first 4 floors. The new buildings are OV with GV on the first 4 floors in the C tower and all GV in the D tower.

that's what I thought, just couldn't remember the name of the Compass building. It's tough to get into the Lighthouse building but I've always been able to get into Compass and it has good views.

That thread I referenced was pretty recent; however I went to the newsletter for the resort and found that Flor was transferred in late June. He was the GM for both the ASC and the AOC. There is a new GM at the Ocean Club - perhaps covering the Surf Club as well? Here's the contact info from the press release and a link to the newsletter:

I visited the Surf Club over July 4th and contact the planning coordinator prior to our visit and here was his respond back to me. We placed our room request in with him and got what we wanted except for the high floor request, other than not getting a high floor we were very pleased with our whole visit to Aruba. Had a wonderful time.

My name is John van der Linden, Vacation Planning Coordinator for the Aruba Marriott Ocean Club and Surf Club.

I wonder if there are several vacation planning coordinators (all using the same email.) I just got my reply:
