We saw a marina with boats when we stayed at Ko Olina a few months ago . Does any here know if any boat at this location offer a short cruise ( 1-2 hrs or so) . I am planning our Hawaii trip and would like to take a leisure cruise from this Marina if possible. Thanks you

When we were there a couple of years ago, our presentation gift was a snorkeling trip for 2 on the KoOlina Cat, a catamaran out of that marina. It was a great trip up the coast, mostly really good snorkeling off the electric beach area, with an outstanding crew. I assume they have a website, and the views of the coast were gorgeous too. Think it was AM and they had muffins and juice. Seems like a bit over 2 hours.

We did a sunset sail also on the Ko'Olina Cat, and it was wonderful- great views, great crew, smooth ride.

They also offer whale watching tours from about Dec to March on the Ko Olina Kat that run daily.

Sunset Snorkel cruise

We went on the snorkel cruise and we had a pretty good time. They take you a little past Ko Olina by the power plant to snorkel, which is a great place to snorkel. They served some food and drinks after snorkeling. Then we went up the coast a little and watched the sunset. I would give the cruise a 6 out of 10 rating.

Hawaii Nautical's Ko Olina Cat no longer operates from the Ko Olina Marina. The catamaran has been renamed.

It's now the Honi Olani, and it operates from Kalaeloa Harbor, the industrial harbor just beyond the Ko Olina Marina.

The Ko Olina Marina is an easy walk form Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club, but you have to take a shuttle through Kapolei to Kalaeloa Harbor.

We've taken over a half dozen cruises (snorkeling, whale watching, and sunset) on the Ko Olina Cat / Honi Olani. Needless to say, we wouldn't keep coming back if we didn't enjoy it immensely
