Trying to get information on a resort in Puerto Vallarta called Marina De Oro. Anyone heard of it and any info would be greatly appreciated.

As TUG members, you each have access to the TUG resort reviews (link to the database at the top of this page). There are a couple of reviews for this resort. Even though somewhat outdated, those reviews should be useful.
That page also includes the TUG numerical rating for the resort, which includes ratings by nine TUGgers who didn't write a review. You can compare that rating with TUG ratings for other resorts with which you are familiar to get a sense of what the rating means.
Also, I did a Google search for the name of the resort (in quotes) along with the word timeshare and found a fair amount of info.

We stayed there in January 2001. We really liked it. It was an older resort, but nice. The rooms were really large and our unit had a hot tub on the huge outside oceanview terrace. We could watch the cruise ships dock and unload from the kitchen window. The location is good - we could walk to SAM'S and Walmart. It is part of the Club Golden Shores and Crown Paradise Club VISTA resorts group. Even though we generally stay at GC resorts, we would go back there.
