Does anyone have thoughts and any feedback on ownership in Margaritaville Vacation Club. How do Club Wyndham Plus and Margaritaville work together? We are Founder’s owners with 1.505m points and Use Year beginning October 1st. Anyone with some experience in these two ownership? We upgraded recently in Atlanta. This resort is incredibly luxurious with the most friendly staff of any Wyndham we have experienced. Any experience with extra benefits (TravelUp, Vacasa, etc) would be helpful.
 
I expect that we will see additional Margaritaville Resorts added in the near future. Those properties are really nice especially if they are a part of a Margaritaville Hotel. They offer in some cases a better experience than many of the Presidential Reserve properties/units.

If you think you will be using Margaritaville often, it might be worth it, especially if you need larger rooms during prime season. Founders can book up to 10 months from check in. In most cases (if not all), you won’t have a problem getting a one bedroom or studio at 10 months. Rio Mar has three bedroom presidential units that are really nice but very hard to get during prime season and even high season in some cases. If you own Margaritaville points, you will be able to book those before Club Wyndham owners. Not all Margaritaville have large rooms. Nashville only has studios. Also, you will have access to Pigeon Forge which Club Wyndham owners do not.

Other then that, the work the same. VIP Gold can book with months from check in. Silver and bronze is 6 months. Everyone else is five months from check in. You can use them to book Club Pass (WorldMark) locations as well.

One other thing. Apparently, if you move them forward, they lose their Margaritaville benefits. That includes the earlier booking window. You will only be able to use the rollover at 10 months. It’s the same with Club Wyndham. You cannot use rollover points in the ARP window.
