We're heading to MMC next week. We've only been there in the Summer. Water Country is closed, Busch Gardens is Weekends only and has their HallowScream events. Is there anything else going on in the Fall we should check out at CW or any other venues? Restaurant suggestions are also appreciated. We've never done a Ghost walk event either. I know there are two to choose from. We do not have young children with us.
Thanks.

I would walk through the college campus. It will be beautiful.

Drive from Colonial Williamsburg to Jamestown on the Colonial Parkway as the sun is setting over the James River.

Busch Gardens is really fun, but will be mobbed at night. It is one of the better Halloween experiences.

I would eat at one of the taverns or just have a drink at the Lodge or Inn.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm glad you mentioned walking through the college. We checked the website and it turns out that it is Homecoming weekend and the football team is playing our daughter's alumni, Towson University of Maryland. We're going to check with the athletic department to see if we can get tickets. We've been too busy this year to get to any type of football game. We've never tried Food for Thought. Can't wait to try it. Tripadvisor forum suggests going to the Hallowscream before 6pm for the faint of heart, that's me. I can't wait to get to the quiet beauty of MMC and the area.

best !!!

Take a half-day and :

Visit at least two plantation homes along the James River. That was by far our favorite thing last Fall when we were there. The scenery and foliage will be amazing. The BEST two are Shirley and Berkeley Plantations. Take John Tyler Memorial Highway west from Wmsbg and travel to both, and have lunch along the way at Charles City Tavern----it's awesome. Fantastic menu and food, and it's charming. You won't regret it.

We recently returned from Manor Club - stayed in a sequel unit which was lovely- enjoyed dinner at Buon Italia (in New Town) and Sal's by Victor(shopping center corner of Richmond and Monticello) both excellent - loved new Trader Joe's in New Town off Monticello Ave. great wine selection -
