All the information is located in the "skickys" at the top of the Starwood Forum.

Manadatory Resorts are...

WKORV (not north)
Kierland
Harborside
St John
Vistana Village

North is mandatory.

Bay Vista in St. John is not mandatory.
Nor is all of Vistana.

In fact, just go to the sticky. ;)

Truly Odd Terminology.

For something as completely voluntary as going on vacation at a resort, it is nothing short of strange & weird that a timeshare company came up with the term mandatory to designate something relating to an ownership category.

Full Disclosure: I don't own any StarWood timeshares. If I did, it is highly questionable whether I could figure out mandatory & voluntary, etc. Doofus is as doofus does, & all that.
