Making my weeks resort into RCI points?

I own a week at the Suites of Fisherman's Wharf. I am not a Shell Vacations Club Points member, just a regular week. I noticed on the RCI directory that Suites is also a points resort. Can I make my week into RCI points? How would I know how many RCI points I can get? Thanks.

RCI considers the "Suites of Fishermen Wharf" a different resort than "Shell vacations at the fishermens wharf." So, although the Shell resort is RCI points the regular resort is not a member of RCI points.


PS My shell resort in Whistler isn't even in RCI even though the Shell rooms are part of RCI points

I am so confused. So does that mean that I cannot convert to RCI points? I asked the RCI Guide but she had no clue. She said I have to wait to get my RCI weeks membership first and then I can convert to Points, but she didn't know how I would do that, let alone how many points I will get. Thanks.
