This just showed up in my email. Head scratcher moment since we are in 2020 fees. MVCI IT at its best. Creating confusion right after their service line has closed for the day.

Thought maybe I missed a fee but just checked online.

Guess it's a bad idea to try to book a vacation tomorrow. :wall:

We got the same. Chose not to click on the link in the email (just in case) and accessed my account by opening a new browser window and navigating to the website myself. Yup. Big Zero (same as I would rate the experience of getting this email).

I’m a new owner and was waiting for such a reminder since closing was at the year. Instead I received a barely readable Welcome snail mail letter that told me to call. Thankfully instructions on how to setup online account was readable and I was to pay immediately.

You want a reminder to pay 2019 MF?

Aye. I pray they don’t bring their IT over to the vistana side. Our IT is leaps and bounds ahead.

I got the same thing. Unnerving. I checked again even though I knew I had paid them all.

Same here. Insert eye roll emoji here!!!

+1. I emailed them just to be sure but sounds like they sent out a blanket email reminder rather than just sending out to those that needed it. It shouldn't have been difficult to mine the data and send only to those who needed it. I also checked mine and my wife's account to be sure there wasn't something I missed.

Even if they did send out a blanket email, it is for 2019, really?

And I bet we will never get any kind of apology for emailing out erroneous information . . . or for that matter, probably not even any recognition of the problem. When this happens to any sizeable financial institution, it makes the news. I wonder if this will even if only by the Points Guy?

Just delete and move on.......

I assumed they just sent out the email and forgot to change the year. I don't think 2019 vs 2020 would help much if they were balking at waiving any late charges but one could try to make that case if needed.

Rather unrealistic - how often is MarriottVacationClub.com up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?

I just received an email suggesting I can save postage by paying via the website. I have already paid all my MF's this year via the website. Their incompetence is unbelievable,

I got the same one and it saved me a bundle! I've been at my daughter's for the past 3 weeks helping her with the baby after her husband was deployed. I had paid 3 of my m/f's and the DC dues but not the m/f's on the 4 Ocean Pointe weeks. I actually thought I had! When I got the email I logged into the website and saw they were unpaid. I knew the payment had been due on the 22nd so I was dreading finding out I had a large penalty for missing it.

I called OS and found out the email was sent during the grace period so I didn't have any penalty. Works for me.

Called OS today and got new recording. Glad they've shortened the log in message. Then there was an apology for the mistake of sending payment notice to those who had already paid.
