DD is currently in Porto Portugal & tomorrow will be flying to London (LHR) via Madrid (MAD) on Iberia Airlines. She has a 80 minute layover in MAD & her aunt is now telling her that she'll have to collect her checked bag & then recheck it for the 2nd flight with very little time to do so.

I think that the fact that it was booked as 1 (connecting) flight & both legs are on Iberia that her bag will be checked all the way through to LHR.

This is DD 1st international flight on her own and she's a little freaked out, especially travelling from 1 non-English speaking country thru another!

Any opinions?

Thank goodness family will be meeting her at LHR!

TIA,
~Diane
