I own Marriott and am familiar with those options. We stayed at the Northstar Hyatt to ski last year and it was very nice but I expect too quiet in the summer. I am looking for ideas outside of Marriott I could consider placing a request to trade besides Park City, Vail and Steamboat specifically in the summer.

Breckenridge, CO has some nice resorts. We own specifically at Grand Colorado on Peak 8. It’s one of the most complete resorts we’ve been to with an onsite coffee shop, restaurant, a coupe of bars, fitness center, spa, several hot tubs, escape room, arcade, several movie theaters and I’m probably forgetting one or two things.

There are several other very nice resorts like grand lodge on peak,7, grand timber, Hyatt Main Street Station to name a few. Most don’t have AC. Grand Colorado and Grand Lodge both have central AC.

I agree that Breckenridge is a great summer destination, and Grand Lodge at Peak 7 and Grand Colorado at Peat 8 are both very nice properties.

Thanks everyone. I was in Breck once during the summer and agree it was lively. I have stayed away for years due to the elevation. I started specifically looking for lower elevation ski resorts after dealing with multiple days of headaches.

You could also look at the Westin Riverfront in Avon

Suggestion: if landing in Denver, spend a day or two before going higher. It might help with the elevation problems.

If you are willing to drive as far as Aspen then Aspen Mountain Residences is one of the nicest timeshares I have stayed in. Used to be part of Hyatt Residence Club and still owned 20% by HRC but no longer managed by Hyatt. Aspen in summer has many festivals that may be of interest.
Will be tough to get in Interval, but is frequently available on Redweek and Third Home or a direct trade with a Hyatt owner.

I wonder how much that helps. Someday I will give that a try.
I have the same problem coming from NYC. I've stayed one night in Denver before going up to Breckenridge and it does help but I wouldn't say it completely eliminated any symptoms. I've started to use those Boost oxygen cans. I find that it does help me feel better with more immediate relief when I feel a headache coming on.

I was wondering about oxygen cans and those oxygen centers but my research on the internet said it is a very temporary relief and just prolongs the adjustment period. Maybe I should try the can.
