I was just told that the regular safe route to Rocky Point at Lukeville is closed. In the conversation was the reason as being a migrant surge in other border areas has short staffed this port of entry. Rocky Point was a winter destination we had considered.

Either way, today it is closed. I might need a better AI, lol. This one is Bard and will replace about 50,000 google employees in the next few months. I'm not sure if that is a good thing but it is the way things are going.

I get the Google AI responses at the top of my Google searches, and generally have found them to be highly inaccurate for things like dates, times, and specific information that changes. Frankly, I don't click on them much so I don't know whether other responses are accurate.

I really don't buy into the "AI" is the greatest everything mantra yet (it reminds me of the blockchain and alt-coin hype). It is not independent intelligent thinking as it's name implies, and the masses believe. It is just a more refined computer programming/ algorithm but it remains: garbage in = garbage out.

So far, my largest use for Bard is to be a thought lead generator when you query google. The AI supplies statements that can be thoughts a person wouldn't necessarily think of on their own. I do ask google many questions and the websites google directs me too along with a Bard comment is something I find useful in my research. It's not perfect, but it is interesting at the least.
