Even though they say they have no deed back on their website, I called them and was told I could deed back for $500. As we own it every other year, I figured there was no urgency, so I sat on it. They then contacted me and said they would waive the $500 fee. That all sounds great except now I'm curious why they're so eager to take my deed back and especially for free. There was a BBB complaint at the start of the year where they offered the owner to the back for $5,500 so what has happened in a few short months but they are willing to provide the service for free? They also seem to have a rule that you have to prepay $1,500 worth of maintenance fees if you want to even transfer your unit to someone who's not family. They were one of the worst companies that I've dealt with in all my years of time sharing. I am very suspicious that they are doing this for benevolent reasons. Have any owners received any similar offers?
