So i see alot of limited availability when trying to book. Does that just mean they are fully booked for my dates? Even the dates that do not have that it will not let me book anything..any help would be great.

Maybe. What system are you in and what dates and locations are you trying to book?

Some idea of what system you are trying to book with would be helpful.

Club Wyndham
and what and when are you trying to book. Popular locations during popular times often need to be booked 10 months in advance.

Limited availability means there is 1 unit left on that day. Problem is that 2 days in a row might have limited availability, however NOT in the same room type. So with a 2 or 3 night minimum, you can't really book those dates.

It is sometimes helpful to just search by 1 unit size when you run into limited availability situations. It will not help when there is multiple types within the same unit size, eg. 2 BR Deluxe, 2 BR Lockoff and 2 BR Presidential. But it will at least eliminate all other types that add noise to your looking for days to string together.

Some resorts have better availability, some resorts are much harder.

Give us an idea of when and what resort and we can offer our observations and experience. This likely needs to be moved to the Wyndham forum as well.

Wyndham glacier canyon mid of july..just looking for 3-4 days

Wyndham glacier canyon mid of july..just looking for 3-4 days

Summer anytime at this resort is very hard, as are holiday weeks anytime during the year. Weekends year round are also difficult. Rest of the year midweek is possible. But planning is helpful. July is just way too late to be looking.

Kinda thought so was looking for a last min waterpark location..thanks

Same problem at Great Smokies Lodge for availability. Smoky Mountain always seems to have more last minute availability compared to GSL, because of the attached waterpark.

I think we only have two real "waterparks" in the system - Wyndham Glacier Canyon and a smaller number of rooms at Great Smokies Lodge. Unfortunately, Wyndham Glacier Canyon has lots of deeded owners - who tend to book summer availability early.

I think that might be where I get me deed from..I have the discovery package right now and didnt really realize it's only 5hr from me and it looks really cool..anyone know the maintained fees there?

If you are asking about Glacier Canyon, the maintenance fees are $6.59/thousand points plus the program fee. These are some of the highest in the system, but this resort has lots of amenities included that have to be supported.

The program fee is $0.60 per thousand points if you buy retail (because it includes the ability to use PlusPartners to redeem points for airfare, car rentals, etc.) and $0.58 if you bought resale. There is a minimum cost of $155 with PlusPartners or $135 without, that will apply if you own less than 258,000 or 235,000 points respectively.

So, Glacier Canyon would be at least $7.17 per thousand for maintenance fees.

Man that seems high but looks like that is one of the most popular resorts..I wonder how hard it is to get into at 10 months if I have a deed done where else or CWA..

I have three reservations at Glacier Canyon for this summer (2 3 bedrooms and 1 2bedroom), we also had one from Dec 31-Jan 7 (1 bedroom). I do not own at Glacier Canyon, I booked the summer ones in October 2018-for 2019 and the Holiday one in Sept 2018 for check in Dec 31 2018 (that was lucky). I own at random resale Wyndhams and have booked fine at Glacier Canyon for 3 years+

(edit : I also live about five hours from there ! It is SO much fun. Read about it before you go or it will be overwhelming)

If you trust them, definitely be able to do their own thing. The shuttle system is great on property and everything is connected inside, excluding the one across the river. The unlimited funpasses are a good value if they aren't into the water parks.

Glacier Canyon is a CWA resort. I would recommend buying CWA so you could book up to 13 months in advance of checkin

So I can buy a CWA and not deeded to glacier canyon and still get 13 month in adv? I thought u had to have it deeded to a specific property for that..

The appeal of CWA is that you have access to a wide portfolio of resorts at 13 months, including Glacier Canyon. CWA doesn’t have access to 100% of the inventory at 13 months, but it does have enough to make it attractive at many of those resorts.
