generally Whole life, and Term life

Term policies are for a time certain, ie 10 years. If the insured dies in that ten year period the policy pays , if the insured lives beyond the term, the policy expires worthless

Whole life has an investment component. ie there is value that builds over time

There are a multitude of variations on these two themes. Policies can be designed to your specific needs

Folks - My spidey senses tell me that post #1 is just the set up for a spammer.

First post, totally unrelated to the topic. Of course its a troll.
Besides, what do we look like? Wikipedia?

Life Insurance In A Nutshell.

please give guidance for types of life insurance policies.
Life Insurance = You're betting you're going to die & the insurance company is betting you're going to live.

If you live, you lose.

If you die, you still lose -- somebody else gets the money.

So it goes.

There are plenty of websites out there that provide life insurance resources, educational kits and Life Insurance Needs Calculators. You could start by educating yourself on the options you and your family have, what you qualify for in terms of health and coverage, and which option makes fiscal sense. Like the other posters on this forum, there are two types of policies you can buy: Term Life & Whole Life. And yes, term insurance makes the most sense if you’re looking for essential coverage for a comparatively cheaper price. Go to a place you can easily compare types of life insurance online and get help from a trusted financial advisor or agent if you get stuck along the way.

Maybe I'm being a curmudgeon, but...

1. What on earth does life insurance possibly have to do with "Buying, Selling & Renting" timeshares, and ...

2. Why is this first time post / inquiry even being acknowledged and graced with any responses at all?

At best, even in the Christmas spirit, the inquiry belongs in the TUG Lounge. At worst, it begs for deletion...
Ask an insurance agent, not a timeshare discussion forum, for cryin' out loud. C'mon. :annoyed:

Hmm... The OP was answered by another user who only had one other post, and that other ost was deleted due to it being spam. Hmm...
