Let's Play Connections

If you know, you know.

I picked the first four, then thought it was too easy. I thought about it, and went another way, using a couple of those words with a few others. And it was right. Some of these puzzles are simple, and sometimes they're awful. Today was a good day. :D

I use “a couple of those words“ everyday when I play Connections! :D

A Perfect today.

Maybe if I'd have looked at it all day I could have done better. Some themes crossed my mind but didn't gel, and I got it over it with, lol. Good luck all!

Again, I’m with you, Sandi. Some days I wonder why I even bother playing this game.

Well now that I see the answers, I can “see” the answers. Otherwise 100% clueless today.

I squeaked out a Phew today.

Lucky me on Friday the 13th. Funny that green is only by default, but I saw the yellow and blue categories, iffy purple and, again, very lucky guesses.
I'll take a GREAT for today.

Not that I knew the rappers, just looked rappy. I don't understand the THE(E) part of the category title.
Note: Googling I see... Megan Thee Stallion...

I got lucky with the green and I got purple by default. Two misses so a Solid today.

I lucked into a perfect today. I got the blue and yellow pretty easily. Totally got lucky on the purple and then the green by default. I’ll take it.

I missed one today.

Keeping with my let's get this over with attitude with this game, it was fast, and getting the purple first is always nice, IMO.

Easy one today but I still managed to have two misses for a Solid.

Only one miss today for a great start. And, like Sandi, I also got the purple first.

One miss, but question in the spoiler...

Has anyone ever hear of using the word "crib" to refer to one's home?

Yes, it’s common slang with the younger generations.

Yep. I suspect it was because I was in the home fashions industry. Used to be a show called Cribs which toured celebrity homes.

It must be an easy one when I get purple first!

I think so or am confusing with cript, lol.

I never knew there were so many words to describe your rear end. LOL! :D

One miss on my initial attempt this morning, then I figured it out.
