Well, now that you mention it - purple shenanigans. I really don't understand what they are saying/meaning. Definitely by default!!
First of all, I don't recognize them all as song titles. Secondly, with parenthesis? Huh?
OK, thank you Google:
I Ran (So Far Away)
Istanbul (Not Constantinople)
MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name),
(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction - OK - I know and get this ONE (I even considered it as a song but that's as far as I got with it).

Yup, too much of stretch connections...

I am really bad at movie titles, let alone remember scenes and lines and such (jealous of those who recall is so much better than mine). I'm guessing it's going to be a perfect day for a lot of people. I did google to make sure I wasn't messing up titles (cause I do that). And I only got purple by default, yes now it looks familiar.

Today's was weird. I got them all without mistakes, but the Wordle was really ridiculous for me today. Took all six turns.
 
Almost too easy today - which immediately made me suspicious. I fell for that before. :D

So I went for TAPE UP instead of DEMO TAPE. I suck at movies. Although CARS being a movie crossed my mind, I didn't pick up on the other 3 being movies (thus PIXAR MOVIES being my default group).

After two quick misses, I got lucky with a Solid. I didn't know the blue until the end.
