I looked at this and thought I had no chance, as none of them starred he only actress I was familiar with, Sarah Bernhardt, but it turned out ok.

I still hated it. I gave up trying and failed out on purpose, just to see the results. Once I saw what they did, it made more sense. I'd never have gotten these.

However, the Beetlejuice answer should have been "One of these things is not like the others." But then, maybe it's just me. :D

I first thought that I would never get this as I am not a movie maven. But then, I realized it was the names had the connections, and then it became winnable with no trivia needed

My first thought was no way.. and on to a busy day. Ended the day solving the blue and purple with DH (maybe 3rd time ever, he's not a games guy but I needed him today)! Solved the green and yellow with DD, who comically had stepped into a conversation (passing a cubicle at work -- and asked - are you talking about connections)?
So I guess we had a lot of fun with this one today.

Still object to BEETLEJUICE and DUMBO...

Ah... so I googled DUMBO - Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. Never heard of it, but chances are I've accidentally been there. One New Years we were taking my niece to a party (my sister lives in Greenwich, CT) and we were accidentally in Brooklyn (I think) instead of Manhattan. We were dropping her off and my Mom kept saying 'We aren't leaving her here', louder... 'We aren't leaving her here'... louder and firmer yet, 'We ARE NOT leaving her here'.

Anyways, connections today, seemed to take it easy on us after yesterday's brain drain...

If you don't know NYC, Dumbo as a location would never occur to you, especially when grouped in with a bunch of movie titles. My larger objection is that a beetle is not an animal. So that connection is sketchy, at best.

Yes, I know it's just a game. But sometimes it's like they want to slap you with how clever THEY are, even if the connection only makes sense after they stick their tongue out at you, and tease you about how not-smart YOU are.

But I digress... LOL! :D
