Good job. I actually started after midnight (because we were up chasing the aurora borealis). Only got yellow and green and decided to sleep on it. Didn't help, I still struggled this a.m. At least I didn't bomb out.

I actually figured blue out in the split second between making a selection and bombing out. In fact I was surprised my fingers hadn’t followed my brain. Not a good day.

thanks sometimes it's just obvious. katz is what put me in that direction. then hare and Greece were no brainers. tomorrow, if im lucky ill get purple by default as usual

I could see the homophones, but couldn't see the musicals (don't tell my Show Choir children), was struggling to think of how they would group, lol. Nice one @jont

I ran the blue group past my Latina wife and it took her a little bit of time mostly because of my English pronunciation. She said “sus” would be difficult for those with Spanish as a second language.

Surprised that purple wasn't my last category today, it seemed to be a bit of a theme (purple by default).

I “sorta saw” the blue; some of those kept popping out at me as I made other connections, but it never occurred to me they’d use Spanish words. So blue by default.

Me too. Blue was by default. I'm going with the excuse it is because they teach French as a second language in Canada. My Spanish is very limited.

When only purple was left.....I knew the 'connection'.

That being said, I have only been playing for a few months. Were some of the connections as dumb many months ago as they seem to be getting now??

I agree that some of the purple now are so far fetched they aren’t even fun.

It's been interesting with my daughter starting to do these, too. Age overall has been in my favor, I think, as far as category knowledge. I do try not to spend too much time as some of these are too far-fetched. Like slim yesterday -- only 2 of those were reasonable, IMO. I had no chance at purple (spanish) - but fair enough, I guess. The items in the categories need to be reasonable, as well. My brother spends almost no time and bombs more regularly, lol, all for fun!
