I have fumble fingers this morning, and maybe a foggy brain, and suddenly discovered almost immediately that I’d used up two tries when I thought I’d only made one attempt to solve. Frequently this puzzle resets itself during the day when I go to compare with Cliff and find it wiped clean, so I’m hoping to be able to start over with a clean slate at some point.

Apparently. It wasn’t actually too bad here yesterday. A couple of storms but nothing severe at our home.

Of course today Connections didn’t reset itself. Finally used Cliff’s phone and got a PHEW!, so I’m glad I didn’t try to finish on my phone with the extra demerit against me. He never asked why his puzzle was already done (if he had I’d have told him) — one upside to living with someone who is losing his memory is that I can slip things past him!

I am familiar with 'Elevator Statement', I haven't seen it called 'Elevator Pitch' (you get on an elevator and meet someone new, and have that much time to introduce yourself, or explain what you do for a living, something like that). I am not familiar wiht FEVER PITCH. Nor do I think of PLASMA as a state of matter. And I think we've seen that one before (I didn't like it then, either. But PHEW, I know that that one!!
