With some time I got my first connection. Then that was it. The next should have come to me, but didn’t. The last two, they could have given me a dozen tries and I wouldn’t have got it.

Rick didn't get one of the categories, but I did get it, and he is astounded that I got it.

Thanks to @billymach4 for adding this to our daily puzzle lineup. I did much better yesterday. Today's was tough, really tough.

Yesterday's stumped me bigtime. First, I don't know rappers. Second, I didn't get the septets. Once Rick gave me that clue, that the category was septets, I did get them. Had they listed those as plurals (seas, wonders, sisters, sins), I may have been able to put it together. As it was, I couldn't see any connection between those four items.
