has anyone been suckered into a leisurepath sales presentation? it is a subsidiary of bluegreen. they give this shpiel about you go to any resort you want you don't own it and you pay for the week you want to use. so you don't pay maintance fee's, you just pay for the week you want.
it is using rci or II getaways.but they don't tell you that in the presentation.
the cost is $2000 for the wonderful privilege of using rci or II getaways.
this is a real ripoff. the scam was called vacation station in our area. they are now out of business and some lawyer contacted me for input on our experience with this company , they are starting some legal action against them.
we did get 2 free weeks in a bluegreen timeshare and we let our yearly dues lapse.
when we went to the presentation we were new to timesharing and did not know anything about the exchange companies. then i started to learn about how RCI and II work and the getaways and realized we did not need this company. so we lost $2000. got 2 free weeks from them and learned a lesson.
anyone else out there, get scammed ?
