It looks like they only take reservation for 7 days interval when using Last Call on RCI. Considering price is really good(or sometimes I feel it is too good to be true) yet I won't need full 7 days(or I cannot afford to take full 7 days from work,) can I make a reservation for 7 days and check out early? I cannot imagine them penalizing me as I already paid for full 7 days and just checking out early, not asking for money back. Have anyone done this?

-p.s. I am asking for resorts not requiring per person all-inclusive fee. I can imagine those require per person all-inclusive fee can charge you for full 7 days.

I can't see what the problem would be. Sure you can check out early.

You can get there late - just phone ahead so they know you're not a complete no show.

And yeah, leave whenever you like, just let them know you're gone.

Just keep them informed if you are arriving late, and leave when you want. No worries.

Just in case you don't know....

As a HGVC owner, you also have the ability to rent a three night minimum stay at a RCI Resort during RCI's Open Season Reservation Window.

For more details see the "Open Season Reservation" section at HGVC Club Member site - http://www.hgvclubprogram.com/club-features/reservations/
(NOTE: I've never booked RCI nightly rentals but I believe RCI's Open Season Reservation Window is 90 days before check-in. You'll need to confirm this with the HGVC RCI rep).

HGVC Owners have access to exchange inventory in RCI Weeks (weekly stays) and RCI Points (weekly & nightly stays).
HGVC Owners also have access to RCI Rentals via
(a) RCI Extra Vacation (7 night rentals only available via phone)
(b) RCI Last Call (7 night rentals available online via HGVC webportal and by phone)
(c) RCI Nightly Rentals (nightly rentals only available via phone) (NOTE: I think this is only available via RCI's Open Season Reservation Window. You'll need to confirm this with the HGVC RCI rep).

We've done it...no problems!

We've done that several times. We've never had any problem with checking out early. I've not tried it checking in late, but as long as you call the resort, I bet it would be fine. We usually do it over a long weekend when there's a sale...$199 for 3 nights isn't bad at all!
