Lakeshore Reserve opening June 4

Is anyone going to the opening of Lakeshore Reserve. My family will be there June 20-27 in a Two-Story Villa. I will give a report when I get back.

ORLANDO, FL, Jun 02, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Marriott Vacation Club, the premier timeshare brand of Marriott International, proudly announces the opening of Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve at Grande Lakes in Orlando, Fla. I have an exchange reservation for a 2 br at Lakeshore Reserve for February 2011. Looking forward to checking it out.

That's not always good. ;) I had the opportunity of staying in a brand new unit a couple of years ago, and there were a few things that were not quite right. 12 months later was much better. :)

I'll Hope for the best that all is in order. This will be my first trip to Orlando in 15 years I've not gone to Disney or stayed at a DVC resort. I am going to take the family to Discovery Cove, Sea World, Aquatica. In the last year I traded my little Fox Run unit and have stayed in a Two Bedroom Marriott Surf Club and then with an AC stayed in a One Bedroom Marriott Maui Lahania Tower. After these Resorts I am in love with Marriott. I purched a Willow Ridge off ebay and finally the deed has been sent to Marriott. I booked my wife a couple days at the Ritz Spa so she is excited.
 
My family and I will be at Lakeshore in a 2 bedroom this month! I placed my building request this morning!

If your kids are Harry Potter fans, include a trip to Universal Studios because the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opens June 18.

What building did you request? With such a new resort, how did you know what location to ask for? My wife and I are going in Nov. and your response might help us to request a particular location.
 
I'm excited to be in a regular two bedroom layout in the late fall. My kids are excited to be experiencing Universal's Harry Potter in the fall. I think it will be a win-win situation for all. I hope I get as much relaxing resort time as they get in the parks!
 
Looking forward to spending a week at the new Lakeshore resort in November, followed by another two weeks at the Cypress Harbor and the Grande Vista. Life is short. May as well live it up ! :)

Where and when is the next Marriott's resort coming up after the new Lakeshore ?

NICE!! We're doing a week this month at Lakeshore followed by a week at Grande Vista.
