Which resort would you chose? Grand Residence or Timber Lodge? I think I already know the answer by looking at the website though. We are not skiers, just looking to get away for a few days.

The standard 2 bedroom units are about the same except timber lodge has a washer and dryer.

Thr residence has some fantastic 3 bedroom delux units that will blow your mind.

Marriott Timber Lodge and Marriott Grand Residence

Greetings from Lake Tahoe... At the moment, it's snowing for the first time this season...

Both properties are outstanding, and although I've not stayed at either one, I really don't think you'll find a difference in quality between the two. I've personally not heard any negative feedback on either one of the two properties.

They were both built at the same time, and are the only 2 lodging properties located inside the Heavenly Village. I walk through the village a few times a week with my little Maltese dog (I live at Tahoe), and it is a beautiful setting at Heavenly Village.

I'm sure whatever property you end up staying in will be a treat! Please come back and post which property you stayed, in and how you liked it. Enjoy!

Do a search on this board....lots of good threads comparing the two. As you can see from my signature we will be at TL early next year. The washer and dryers INSIDE each unit there made the choice an easy one. GR do not have w/d in the units.

We faced the same decision this year. There is a lot of info on the board if you do a search, but basically, in the end, it was a toss up for us, so we submitted a request for either property. We got Timber Ridge. From what I understand, the square footage there is a little less than GR for a 2 bedroom, but everyone seemed very pleased to be there all the same.
