We have a 6 nite stay OF 2BR what floors are best to ask for. My wife is having trouble with her knees so less walking the better. thanks

I would request Lahaina towers for the least walking from the elevator to the room, and from the garage to the elevator. I would also ask for the highest floor possible. There are plenty of lawn chairs on the grass and it has good shade.

If you do get placed in the napili towers, you may want to ask for room 01. It is right next to the elevator, but has a modestly impacted view based on the angle of Napili.

Enjoy your trip!

Best,

Greg

Though I own 3 total weeks in Napili tower, I consider GregT a fabulous and knowledgeable resource at MMOC. I agree with his advice and he certainly knows a lot more than I do about Lahaina towers! :)

If your wife is having knee issues please know that MMOC is a huge property. REALLY spread out. They have an amazing amount of beachfront which is part of what makes this property so awesome. I just thought you might want to be prepared for how big the resort is, but if you can request a room as GregT recommends that should greatly cut down your walking. Plus, when you're on the grounds you can just slow down and take it easy and soak in that gorgeous scenery. :D Have fun!

If walking is really a problem, you can take a wheelchair with you or rent it there. We did two years on a row but it is difficult to use it in Lahaina because I had a hard time pushing it on the pavement there in some areas. I don't know if an electric one would be easier but I doubt it.

We stayed at the property once and were in Lahaina towers. As Greg notes Lahaina towers is very close to the parking garage. There is also a small pool and Jacuzzi adjacent to the building. Next to the pool is the restaurant which we enjoyed. We happily sent most of our time on that side of the resort where everything was a close proximity. That part of the resort is quiet and generally away from hustle and bustle at the main pool / Maui ocean club (original tower). Enjoy!!

I do not agree with the recommendation of the 01 stack in Napili. It has an excellent view in the abstract, but is in my opinion more like an ocean view than an ocean front. I always request NOT to be in the 01 Napili stack. Having said that, if you never experienced the other OF stacks, you will be extremely happy with the 01 Napili view. In OP's circumstances, I might request a room close to the elevator but NOT Napili 01. I think the best buildoing for OP would be Lahaina Tower.
