Hi
were scheduled to visit Lagunamar later this month.
one of the previous times we stayed there we were put in a building that was very close to the Aqua’s air conditioning system. It was incredibly loud - It was impossible to have a conversation on the balcony.

does anyone know which buildings to avoid? Which one is the worst 1100, 1200 or 1300 building?

Also how do I go about asking a room request?

thanks in advance

All buildings are ocean view and face the ocean. There are not really any bad buildings. We generally request a villa floor 4 or higher as palm trees or other strictures can obstruct the view of lower floor villas. The buildings you referenced are on the Phase 2 quieter side of the resort over by Duna sports bar.

We like to stay in Building 14 on the quiet side. Here is the view from the 4th floor in the middle. I don't recommend building 14 ocean front. The sun really beats on the balcony in the morning.

I always call the resort a week before arriving and request the building.

That was probably building 1300 you were in, I would also try to avoid 300 because there are some units on the end where they face the parking lot. 1100 and 1200 will be fine because the balconies face into the resort. 1300 is where the balconies face out of the resort and overlook Live Aqua, grass and scrubby bushes.

We were in bldg 10, 5th floor for the last 2 weeks and it was great. We preferred the smaller pool as it was less crowded and the service was awesome.
