I own several weeks at Vistana resorts and I just called each resort individually to add my bonvoy number to my upcoming reservations. Those reservations then instantly appeared in my account on marriott.com. All looks fine, except Lagunamar. I have a two bedroom lockoff, and it shows as a single two bedroom reservation on vistana.com, but it shows as two separate reservations on marriott.com - one bedroom + studio, with two separate reservation numbers. I assume it's just a way it shows on marriott.com and I will actually get a two bedroom lockoff? Or is there a risk of getting one bedroom and a separate studio away from the one bedroom?

All my Vistana 2BR reservations automatically show up as 2 separate reservations for each side of lockoff for all locations WKV, WLR, WRMV etc. it doesn’t really matter as Marriott is hotel reservations and nothing really to do with timeshare. I’m even surprised they made the link and it shows up seamlessly for all my reservations

I've never seen a 2BR (MVC) on Marriott.com like this.

Must be a Vistana to Marriott thing brought to you by the Marriott IT experts.

It will be fine. For some reason it shows up on Marriott that way but it’s how it is in the Vistana reservation system that matters.

No, it has to be another name. Just like when you have multiple rooms. You only earn on one room per name.

Our SDO had both sides of the lockout listed as single reservations last time. It worked out fine - they had them together. Something about Marriott IT.

I'm just impressed that you have it in the system automatically. I have three SO reservations outstanding and none of them are showing up in the app.

That's a change from starwood

I never got multiple credit from Starwood either.
All my reservations show in my Marriott app. I had a 2 bdrm and a Studio (2 bdrm was split although reservation was for 2 bdrm). I got credit for just 7 nights.

Unlike Starwood which would give you credit for up to two rooms Marriott will only give you a single night credit.

Lagunamar is generally pretty good about giving you the lockoff if that is what you want. We spent 24 nights in January. The 1 bedroom had two reservations and the studio had three. No problem, they gave us the same lockoff for the full 24 nights.

So my wife is the deeded owner.

I'm the one that travels more and now Bonvoy counts timeshare and point nights plus 15 card nights i am likely to hit platinum this year.

How do I go about getting the reservation in my name and getting my Bonvoy number on the reservation?

The woman on the Westin Vistana line seemed pretty clueless. If this can be done it is worth the $59 fee.

You should be able to go in to the reservation on Vistana.com and click on the "Change Guest Name" button. As long as you are on the deeds, you will be able to change them in to your name for free. Then add your Bonvoy number at checkin.

I'm not on the deed. Happy to pay the $59 to get me to Bonvoy Platinum status.

Then I add Bonvoy number at check-in and get night and spend points?

Thanks

Or just have the front desk add your Bonvoy number when you check in
