LA Olympics 2028 accommodations

I got in on group one at 10am PST. Opening ceremony was sold out and closing ceremony only had the most expensive seats left at almost $5500 each.

No men's basketball, any gender gymnastics, diving or field sports left. Maybe field sports had preliminary in a couple of events but could not believe the prices at $250+ a ticket.

Would love to see the Olympics in person but not at those prices!

I was able to get tickets to a prelim 3x3 Basketball round (4 games in about two hours), which actually sounds fun. It was one of my preferred choices, given transit, parking, and timing concerns. I thought about buying one or two other games, as well, but at the local prices I was offered and based on what was left when I looked I just couldn't convince myself to buy.

I'm still annoyed at the included 24% ticket service fee. Someone is getting rich off of us, and we still don't know if the City of LA will be bankrupt at the end of the Olympics yet or not.

3x3 basketball does sound fun. Driving to that venue from Anaheim didn't appeal to me though!

Back in the day the Gus Macker 3 on 3 Tournaments were a blast. I played in this tournament, but was not on the video.
