Krystal Nuevo Vallarta

We usually rent a car but there are taxis and Uber. There are two decent grocery stores within a mile. I think its Mega and La Comer. There are plenty of restaurants in Bucerias and Nuevo Vallarta. There is a xoox in front of the Krystal Grand and a bike rental shop. Walking on the beach either way are cheap massages. Paradise Village is nearby.

We own next door at the VDP Flamingos and often walk to Bucerias to the flea market and restaurants. It's an easy walking path. Sometimes we just walk the beach.

We've only stayed at the VDP next door, like Bill, but as for recommendations for restaurants in Bucerias: La Negra was our favorite, and Karen's Place is also good. Karen's, in particular, has a lovely brunch. We loved La Negra for dinners, dessert and funky tunes. Enjoy!

Did you walk to these restaurants?

Yes. Below is a link to a Google map of the walk using the pathway. You could also walk the beach which is what we usually do. Most of the restaurants we like are near Karens Place so the map is to Karens. It's a good 30 minute walk on flat ground using the pathway. The beach is fairly flat too.

It just occurred to me that when we went, the week after Mother's Day of last year, we found that a good number of restaurants in town were closed for the summer already. The places I mentioned were both open, so no problems there. So, just a heads up in case you are going in mid-May or later that a number of places may be closed for the season. You will actually need reservations for La Negra - they booked up quickly when we were there (probably due in part to the fact that so many other places were not open).
