Ko'olina exchange

I have a studio for next week, and just this morning confirmed a two bedroom for the same dates. I was then going to cancel the studio but the II rep pointed out that it was booked with a replacement week, and therefore cancelling gives me nothing. They are both oceanview. Could I ask Ko'olina to merge the 2BR and the studio OV to make a 3BR OV? Not sure of the layout and whether that would work.

If your 2 bedroom confirmation shows a dedicated single entry with two twins in the second bedroom you have a good chance, as that is the 2 bedroom portion of a 3 bedroom lockout. Otherwise, I would not count on them helping out, as they generally keep you in the type of room included in the exchange.

ZZAA is a 2BR lockoff, not sure of the view, because of this it may be difficult for them to give you a 3BR lock off unit. This is because the 2Br side of the 3BR lockoff has a different unit code than ZZAA. Doesn't hurt to ask, but I wouldn't expect it.

Ko Olina also has mostly dedicated 2BR non-lockoff units in the third tower. There are probably more of them than there are 3BR units.
