I am booked on an RCI exchange into Kona Coast Resort (2326).
I understand this is run by Shell Vacations. How do I find out whether I am booked into Kona Coast I or II ? Is it all run by the same company?

Which of the 1-bed units is it best to ask for? Upper floor I guess.

Does anyone have a site plan of the resort?

All advice welcome!

It looks like 2326 is Kona Coast I. It should also say on the RCI confirmation.

Sorry, I came back and updated while you were posting. It's Kona Coast I. I've only stayed in Kona Coast II so hopefully someone who owns will post. If you're a TUG member you can read the reviews, and also contact one of the members who owns at KC I.

I did read the reviews but couldn't really decipher how the two parts differ!

OK Kona Coast I gets a higher TUG rating but why?

Can somebody please explain the differences to me.

KCR I is has larger units

KCR II is newer and a 1 bedroom has 2 baths, They are in the same complex( Like the Alii KaiII Napali Club and Sweetwater) and share the same amenites
The older units ( KCRI) are around 300 sq ft larger.
Either would be a great base for the Big Island.
