Whi- ch resort is nicer Kings Land by Hilton or Paniola Greens? I have both on hold. Does Kings Land have a heated pool Dothey shuttle you to the other hiltonh resort and how far? Thanks

I've never stayed at Kingsland, but I'd take that over Paniolo Greens (where I have stayed and liked just fine) just for the location.

Kings Land - if you get it through RCI exchange. You have Hilton hotel pool privilege.

Kingsland is in the Waikolia beach resort area.

Paniola Greens is in the Waikoloa Village 3-5 miles up a hill away from the ocean & resort area.

That makes it a no brainer for me.

Kings Land by Hilton is the new timeshare by Hilton - They say I have privaleges at the other Hilton -How far is the other Hilton from Kings Land? I have already exchanged into P.Greens but I guess it may be worth losing the exchange fee and using my other banked week for Kings Land. What is in this area? What is the nearby beach like? Thanks

Kingsland is a multi million $ resort that just opened last year. The mega pool is due to open in November. Whether it is or not, you can use all the pools at Hilton Hawaiian Village and the lagoon. They run a shuttle every half hour. Also you can use the pool at HGVC Wailoloa, the other timeshare resort. Paniola Greens is in a residential area on a golf course 6 miles from the Waikoloa Resort area. They are 2 story condos that were built in the 80's. Although nice, it is no comparison to King's Land in terms of luxury of units, amentities and location. The shuttle at Kings Land also goes to the shopping and restaurant area. There is also onsite activities (music, ice cream social, maitai, etc) at HGVC Waikoloa, which you can walk to or take the shuttle to. Depending on which building you will be in, it is approximately 2 blocks from the check in office.

Ok, I'll be contrarian. Take Paniolo Greens and have a great time away from the tourist machine. :)

I'm with Marty. I just like P.G. I like going down the hill to shop and look around but wouldn't want to stay there.
