Anyone here stayed in one of the Kings' Land 3-Bedrooms in either Phase I or Phase III? If so, what was your experience?

Wife and I looking to take our 2 young adult-ish daughters and their boyfriends to Kings' Land next May (Gold season to stretch points). Debating between getting a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom or just getting a 3-bedroom for all of us (saves the extra reservation fee). Wondering if it might be better to divide and conquer, sort of. Choosing not to cram all into the 2-bedroom with the pullout couch. I'll welcome any thoughts you have!

Also seems to be a gargantuan point difference between the regular 3BR and the Premier 3BR. Yikes!

Note: we ADORE Kings' Land but have only made use of the BR2 and BP2 (the smaller 2-bedrooms in Phase II and III.

I booked 3-Br in Phase I (3BR). We had two couples with us. One of the rooms has two beds. I would book this exact room again.

As a bit of a bed snob, I'll pipe up here and declare that I wouldn't want to be the couple in the room with the two doubles. Been there, done that. We have a hard enough time sleeping in a bed we're not used to and a double is just too small for us. We sleep in a king at home and at times even a queen seems small.

As far as the OP is concerned, I think I'd opt for a 1BR/2BR in the same situation and having some extra space for all would be worth paying an extra res fee. It's odd that in some of the 2BR codes they reference doubles and in others they state full.

We just stayed in a Phase I 3BR a few weeks ago and it was both fabulous and an amazing bargain. Huge dining table and lots of seating in the living room and outside on the lanai. As for the bed situation, I don't think it would be a big deal at all. Not to put too fine a point on it, but a double provides ample room for evening activities and sleeping in separate beds is often better from a sleeping perspective.

Really, the only reason I would see to get two separate units is if you or your wife is an early and light sleeper and fear the young folk will keep you awake later than you would like.
