King Garib near Grande Vista question

We are coming to Orlando on New Year's Day. Publix is closing at 7:00 and I don't think we'll be able to get there in time.

I really want to stock up on food that night. I believe WinnDixie is open late but they are 6 miles away.

Has anyone here heard of King Garib? It is listed as 1/2 mile away from Grande Vista. Is is a good grocery store?

Thanks for any feedback.

Anne

It's OK. I would not count on this place to stock up, just get some basics to get you thru breakfast. It is a large scale convenience store/souvenier store.

Go to the Super Walmart on Turkey Lake road. From GV go right out of the resort and take a left on Central Florida Pkwy like you are going to Seaworld. Continue to Turkey Lake Road past the on ramp for I4. Go right. Walmart is a couple miles on the left. You'll have everything you need there.

Prices are far better than Publix and quality is almost as good.
