[Kauai Beach Villas] variable maintenance fees

Edited - I have been looking at too many timeshares. I meant to ask about PAHIO Kauai Beach timeshare MF's, not Lawaii!

Hi all,

I am new TUG - first time buyer. I am noticing that the MF's for a 1-bedroom timeshare at PAHIO Kauai Beach Villas vary from $560 to $640 to the high $900's. I've been comparing the same type of inits listed with different vendors, and there is a very big spread between the MF's. Can anyone explain why to me? Maybe some buildings haven't been upgraded and others have? Thanks in advance....

The 2009 MF bills have been delayed (see the other current MF thread.)

2008 MF's:

2 bdm./2 bath - $1,116.43
1 bdm./2 bath - $978.03
1 bdm./1 bath - $920.03

Why are the Ads all different?

1) There are 3 different floor plans/MF's
2) Some may be every other year ownership
3) Some sellers post old info.
4) Some sellers intentionally post incorrect info.
5) Some sellers just don't know what they are doing...

Thanks Denise, it's clear to me that I should not believe all the info in the ads! Even some current TUG ads show MF's at $815 for a 1-bdrm at Kauai Beach Villas...

The maintenance fees have been going up every year. It was in the $400s when we got our first 1 bedroom/1 bath unit there about 10 or so years ago. We haven't received our maintenance fee for this year yet. But I was expecting it to be in the $900s this time. I think it was in the $800s 2 years ago when last paid them (EOY).
