JW Marriott Pool and Lazy River closed to Marriott Canyon Villas Owners and Guests / 2022 Dates [MERGED]

Received an email from MCV yesterday:
“ The JW Marriott Desert Ridge resort has restricted our guests from accessing their pools on certain days. During March 2022, guests will only be able to access the JW Marriott’s pools on 3/11, 3/15, 3/16, 3/17, 3/21, 3/28, 3/29, and 3/31. Besides these days, our guests are unable to access the JW’s pools, but will still be able to access the JW’s other facilities including their restaurants, spa, and golf course. As of right now, these are the restricted/access dates set in place by the JW Marriott. Keep in mind that restriction/acesss dates are subject to change at any time. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.”
So at least we can use JW pools three days out of the week. OK by me…

Thanks. This is an improvement over the email I received a couple of weeks ago. It appears that 3/28 and 3/29 will now be available in addition to 3/31. We will be there for a week starting on 3/27. Spring training will also still be going on that week.
 
I'll be at DSV I in June. When I was last there, the resort was busy and the management removed the 'quiet pool' designations for the summer because of all the families that were there. The pools were packed and very active. So, I visited the JW spa pool M-F because of its quiet experience and it was available. It will be interesting to see what it will be like this year.

DSV was brought up earlier in this thread as another example of a fraying MVC property/JW relationship. So it has relevance here. Nevertheless, I probably should have replied to that post to minimize any confusion.
