Just got st kitts for may 09

Just got our confirmation for St kitts in May. Was wondering has anybody been there recently. Which building to choose and if there is still any construction going on. We are confirmed in a 2 bedroom unit. Should we rent a car.

Was there in Feb. A lovely resort and island. Kind of quiet and laid back. DO NOT RENT A CAR! They are very expensive. You also have to apply for and pay for a temporary St. Kitts drivers license. Cabs are cheap and plentiful and the cab drivers do not appear to be interested in ripping off "la Touristas". If you need to go to a grocery store take a cab and then ask your cab driver to come back and pick you up at a agreed upon time. They will have no problem in doing so.
