I sent an email to
MVCINEWPORTCOASTCONTRACTSTEAM@vacationclub.com with a copy of the first pages of the contract and i also found a notice of cancellation page. We signed that and sent a copy of that in the same email.

I also used an online fax tool to send a fax to the fax number mentioned in the contract. The email/number might be different as these folks deal with the west coast timeshare i guess...
I see! I sent the letter via express mail a couple days ago and sent another letter with MVC materials today via certified mail. And I also emailed them the signed the letter and the first page of contract yesterday. So I sent them them multiple letters haha. But on my contract, there is no fax number. The letter I sent them was trackable and it shows that they received it and signed when they got the mail, hopefully I hear anything back from them soon.

I would suggest that you get in touch with the vacations club sales contact you bought the points from too..just tell them you changed your mind for xxx reasons, thanks for your time etc

I see no use in this. The salesperson isn’t there to make you feel good and you shouldn’t feel any guilt over this decision. Contacting sales just opens up the door for them to try different tactics and apply pressure in other ways.

I meant get in touch to make sure the contracts team got your documents to rescind the contract.

As long as the paperwork was mailed via USPS CERTIFIED MAIL then the Postmarked date of mailing is all that is needed in order to rescind (assuming the paper work was mailed within the legally allowed timeframe).

Certified Mail must be signed for and the signature (and tracking number) show that the documents were received. Further contact is not needed as the rescission law MUST be followed. It may make you feel good by again contacting them but it really doesn't accomplish anything except waste your (and their) time.

Refunds can take as long as 45 days.

@ech35 We hope your rescission and deposit refund were successful. To track TUG rescission savings, mind sharing how much you saved with rescission? As half of tuggers initially bought developer/retail TS, there is no shame.

We did not hear anything from MVC but money was refunded back to our credit card!
The contract was successfully rescinded!
Thank you all!!

I originally purchased 1500 points so I saved 20k + annual maintenance fee about 2k each year!!
