Just bought into shell

I just bought some shell points off of Ebay. I sent the forms into Shell and waiting to hear back from them. How long does it take to get your member number/website login back from Shell? The previous owner had some points left over from this past year, so I'm hoping I can maybe book something for a weekend.

I'm also looking for anyones experience with last minute reservations/specials. I've heard that RCI and II sometimes have last minute specials for a reduce fee/points. Does shell do anything like this?

With Shell you get an automatic Rci membership. It is part of your maintenance fee. You get instant access to last minute deals when Shell gives you your Rci account number. It will be different than your Shell #.

very cool. I wasn't aware of this.. I thought it was a special RCI deal where I could only go through shell and trade weeks.. Thanks for that news :)
